Visual identity for a week-long event at Expo Tel Aviv exploring Googie’s history and cultural impact. Each day focused on a different theme through lectures and small exhibitions.
Googie architecture is a futuristic mid-century style, inspired by the Space Age, car culture, and bold consumer design. Known for its dramatic angles, neon lights, and rocket-like shapes, it brought optimism and spectacle to diners, motels, gas stations, and drive-ins across the U.S.
The visual identity uses bold, era-inspired colors, with each letter designed after an iconic Googie building. Each day focused on a different theme - cafés, motels, bowling, drive-ins, amusement parks, and iconic cities - through lectures, exhibitions, and interactive experiences.
